Concrete Staining

Concrete staining can bring new life into any concrete surface, transforming it into a beautiful work of art. Stains for concrete come in two general classifications: acid-based chemical stains and water based acrylics. Both types of concrete stains give concrete surfaces a unique and luxurious appeal. Acid stains are generally earth toned and produce many different styles of marble like floors. This reaction is due to a chemical reaction with hydrated lime inside the concrete surface. Concrete dyes and stains can also be used alone or to enhance an acid stain. We offer a variety of colors and hues to achieve the perfect look for your floors.

How Concrete Staining Works

Concrete staining is a process in which hydrated lime chemically reacts into the concrete. The acid in the stain carefully etches the concrete surface, enabling the metallic salts to penetrate easily. Once this process reacts it becomes part of the concrete and will not chip, peel, or fade. Which makes this service economical and sustainable since there is no need to repaint or add new coats in the future.
